2008 Cover Crop Research Plot - Bladen, NE
Providence Farms, LLC        Brian and Keith Berns

These cover crop plots were planted into stripped wheat stubble on July 24th with a 10' Great Plains drill.  Pictures were taken every week after planting to record crop growth and progress.  Comments from the cooperators as well as some from Ray Ward are also included on the plot pages.  This research also looked at the water usage of each of these different cover crops.  Additionally, 50 acres was planted to a cover crop mix and was strip grazed and cover crop regrowth has been documented in pictures as well.
